Update 02.29.12
February 29, 2012, 21:26.
Welcome back. I am hopeful that several things are happening. First, I hope you are perceiving daily improvement in our processes. I am not exaggerating when I say that we have people working 24/7 on the issues with the new platform. I recognize that we have let you down this week and the responsibility for that is mine; I hope you will accept my apologies and assurances that we are making every effort to bring the level of service back to what you have come to expect of us. Please share the address of this blog with your coworkers, friends and opposing counsel.
Help me with focusing our efforts. If you need password help, email me directly: david_langham@doah.state.fl.us. If you need help with navigating within e-JCC, email jeannie_paugh@doah.state.fl.us. If you have a program error, you may email that to either of us. Screenshots of the error and knowing the case number are both helpful
Today's updates on Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
We are currently only emailing the order service emails to the "primary" email. No, this is not permanent and we are working now to restore the service to both primary and secondary. I recognize that this is a major concern and appreciate your patience. Try the new "filing" report described in the prior blog post. This will let you review all the filings on all your cases in one easy location. A great double check to the e-service, and a great way to catch inbound filings even before your copy comes from the filer.
I know that the "date stamp" has disappeared from the filed documents. This is an issue that we are having with the company that sold us that software. We are engaged with them in tracing the solution to the problem and hope to restore that feature soon. How do you know it was filed? It is in our docket, as filed on a particular date. When these PDF files come into our system, they are renamed, and part of that file name is the date and time of filing. We can tell you the exact date and time of filing. If it becomes an issue for you, do not hesitate to email me for that information on any particular document (please provide the case number and username, email, of the filer).
The notice of appearance requirement for mediators has been repaired. Mediators do not need to file notices of appearance and the mediator tools should now be fully functional.
The error that was causing text lines not to word-wrap in the response to PFB form has also been fixed today. If you note an ongoing or similar problem, please email me ASAP.
In short, this has been a productive day. I look forward to more progress tomorrow. Again, please accept my apologies for the issues we are encountering and feel free to contact me directly with any suggestions, questions or criticisms. All will be graciously accepted in the spirit of driving towards full-service and full-function in the near future. Thank you again for your patience and professionalism this week.
