e-Service and New Rules

We are transitioning to electronic service of documents. The new 60Q procedural rules became effective October 31, 2012. They are posted on the OJCC website, www.fljcc.org. The OJCC has facilitated a manual e-service process. An automated e-service process, which will be very similar to the process utilized by PACER, in the federal courts, will be deployed January 2, 2013. After the January deployment of the automated e-service process, counsel and parties will still be able to use the manual process to serve documents that are not filed with the OJCC. So for the next two months, manual e-service will be the norm. In January, we will deploy automated e-service contemporaneous with your e-filing of a document. After January, you will still have access to the manual process for serving things you do not wish to file.  We are busily gathering email and mailing addresses for the carriers that do business in Florida.
