One of Our Servers is Slow

People are getting "time out" errors this week. We understand that this is happening. We are aggressively working to rectify the problem. It is a hardware issue with one of our servers and we will get it fixed. I apologize that these timeouts are occurring. I know it is frustrating when you cannot get to the data you wish, as fast as you are used to getting it. Please know that we are working on this. Our IT department is the best in the state and they will rectify this as soon as humanly possible. Back in the day, Emily Litella used to entertain us on the Weekend Update portion of Saturday Night Live. This character would appear as a citizen seeking to correct some perceived editorial position of the television network (a parody of the old Fairness Doctrine spots that some will remember). Emergencies

Inclement weather may pose a risk of service interruption or office closure. It is important to remember a few contact points for those situations. First and foremost is the rule. However, there are many good sources of information. The Rule: Rule 60Q 60Q-6.130. EMERGENCY OFFICE CLOSURE (1) The Office of Judges of Compensation Claims is subject to closure pursuant to Gubernatorial instructions or declarations pursuant to Article IV, section 1(a) of the Florida Constitution and the Florida Emergency Management Act. (2) Whenever the Circuit Courts in the particular county in which an OJCC office is located close, due to a weather or other disaster emergency, the district office of the Office of Judges of Compensation Claims in that county shall likewise close for the duration of the emergency closure ordered by that Circuit Court.
